The Washington Health Empowerment Network, [W.H.E.N.], is a statewide nonprofit incorporated organization devoted to mental health Education, Advocacy and Training.
The organization is consumer ran, and driven by consumer voice.

The organization is governed by a board of director’s that is guided by established operational and fiscal policies that are a part of a professional code of ethics.

W.H.E.N. - is dedicated to mental health recovery and wellness by promoting and supporting recovery through community education, and systems’ advocacy activities for its consumer members and the general public.

As an education, advocacy, and training organization, W.H.E.N. strives to partner with mental health consumers and organizations across systems to bring a unified collective consumer voice to the attention of the community, with a goal to educate public policy makers as well as the community of mental health issues.

W.H.E.N. may represent, or intercede at the request of or on behalf of an individual mental health consumer or group of mental health consumers, to partner with consumers to inform, educate, and distribute publications about mental health consumer concerns.

Who We Are at W.H.E.N. also consist of the people who help to make it possible for the organization to operate in an enlightened manner to promote mental health recovery and wellness as well as supporting recovery through education, and systems’ advocacy activities for its consumer members and the general public. These persons can be divided into the following groups:
